Code Blue: An Oath to the Badge and Gun series focuses on police corruption, police brutality, and racism. It's an important series that needed to be written. There are blogs on this site that talks about how I wrote each book and what went into developing the main character Gary and his son Gary, Jr. This was a tough series to write because of all that's going on in this country and around the world. It's time that a series like this be written and from a different perspective.

While this book series is fictional, it does tackle a lot of what goes on in the communities around the nation regarding citizens and the police departments that are sworn to protect. Code Blue Part 1 tackles various social issues that permeate police departments around the country. Gary is a good cop caught up in a lot of corruption.

Code Blue Part 2 focuses on the corruption, lies and racism along with Gary trying to maintain his sanity after losing his wife and son.

Code Blue Part 3 is the transitional part of the series where Gary gets to work on a big case with a government organization and realizes there's corruption there too.

Code Blue Part 4 is where Gary is at wits end. He finally decides to come forward with all that he knows and has been part of for months at a time.

Code Blue Part 5 is the ending of the series as Gary reflects on what was, leaving the police force and having a new opportunity to do what he loves still...
