My Biggest Supporters

The craziest thing will happen in your life and you’ll see how your biggest supporters are those who don’t know you personally. They will be people who are intrigued by your story, who you are, your vision and purpose for what you do. They will take the time to get to know you and go out of their way to push you to be great. This is what I’ve experienced since moving from the confines of where I was born and raised in New York to the west coast.

Since moving to the west coast, I’ve met some really good people who share the same visions as me and that is to change the landscape of the world we live in. I’ve had discussions with people I meet and they have inquisitive minds. It’s good to learn from others and their experiences and also be able to support each other. 

My biggest supporters have been those who see and understand my vision. A lot of people won’t see your vision and know where you’re trying to go and that’s okay. What I’ve loved about my journey is, I’ve met people who can have engaging conversations about societal issues that are going on in the world today. 

What I will tell you is, if you’re going after what you want and need great supporters, don’t worry about the ones who don’t show you love. You’ll become bitter and angry and there are too many people in the world who want to know and learn of your story. 

Everyone has a story to tell, we’re all storytellers in our own special way. Be sure to focus on what’s important and it’s the people who want to see you succeed. You don’t want to deal with the jealous and envious people who don’t have much going for their lives. Love the process through good and bad and know that with growth, comes more supporters and love from those who want to see you be great.
